Is there any team in hockey that annoys me as much as the Boston Bruins do? On every other team in the league I can find at least ONE player I respect and that I can root for..but there is absolutely no one on Boston for me. Even with Toronto..I adore Toskala & Kaberle and I respect Sundin. I hate they play the game. I cannot stand their coach, their captain or their goalie. I want us to win this series so that I don't have to hear about the Bruins until the end of September. That would be so great. To no ones surprise all the Habs fans are freaking out...as if they all REALLY believed we were going to sweep Boston. Give me a break. Boston had to win at some point. Now that the Habs have been snapped back to reality I'm looking forward to a hard fought game on Tuesday.

Price was outstanding tonight. The kid blows me away every single time. He's so calm and collected, as if he has no idea he's playing playoff hockey for the Montreal Canadiens. He doesn't seem to understand what pressure is. I'm worried about our 1st line. Kovalev has been awful and Pleks has been invisible. I really miss Saku. I'm having small flashbacks to 2006. One easy win. One OT win. Saku out. Self-destruction. I believe we have a way better team this year so it'll come down to how we handle this loss..and how we come out on Tuesday.

It's kind of funny how incredibly easily I get myself distracted. I have small homework assignments due in the next couple of days and I have absolutely no motivation to start them. Last nigh was a lot of fun. Laura & I went to Mimi's house at around 5:00 and picked up some Harveys and watched some weird airplane crash that was kind of disturbing. Game 2 for the Habs/Bruins started at 7 and the Habs were less then impressive. To be fair though the Bruins came out harder then I've seen them in a very long time. I'll give them credit. That doesn't happen often. Kovalev missed about 20 good chances, INCLUDING a breakaway. I could have killed him..until he scored the winner in OT. The three of us went a little bit nuts haha. Then we did some scrapbooking and at 1am Mimi put on Kovys DVD which was pretty neat. I had no idea Kovy had a sense of humor. You learn something new everyday.

Now I'm completely distracted by the Caps/Flyers game. Flyers are about to win it which is perfect. As much as I adore Huet..I want to face the Flyers in the next round..NOT the Rangers. Habs game 3 later tonight. Definitely looking forward to that.

When playoff tickets went on sale I knew getting a pair would be near impossible, so naturally I overpaid some guy to get my seats. From the moment I paid him for those tickets I knew I wouldn't regret it. Stew and I got to the Bell Center about 3 hours before the game, expecting to go get dinner before but when we arrived there was already thousands of people outside getting pumped up. There was radio stations and tv stations everywhere so we stuck around and hung out with the crazy fans. At one point Stew and I were leaning against a table and this camera crew from Global came up behind him and started filming the back of his jersey without telling him(he has Leafs Suck 67 on the back). Then they interviewed him and they interviewed me. Stews interview made it onto the 6:00 news, thankfully mine did not. I hate being interviewed. So at 6:00 we went in and got our towels and took our seats.

The introduction was amazing. I had serious goosebumps and as they started to replay the season highlights I had tears in my eyes. Not going to lie. It just reminded me of how amazing this team has been this year and I'm so fucking proud of them. When they announced the players...I think I went deaf for a good 2 or 3 minutes. I have never in my LIFE heard the Bell Center that loud. It was so sick to see all the white towels waving and everyone on their feet. I can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want to play in Montreal. During the US anthem some morons in back of us started booing. It's idiots like that that give Habs fans a bad name. The place was rocking during the Canadian anthem though.

The game was unreal. 34 seconds in and Sergei Kostitsyn scores. Stew and I were jumping up and down so much that he almost pushed me into the aisle and straight down the flight of stairs haha. Then came the NEXT Kostitsyn like a minute later. I laughed when I read after the game that Tim Thomas was trying to communicate with his D but it was so loud that no one could hear him. We're awesome, seriously. We ended up winning 4-1 which wasn't that much of a shocker. The best part was that we outhit Boston so that should shut up all those people that think that the Bruins can win against us using their body. I'm so pumped for the rest of the series. It should be great as long as it doesn't get too dirty..there were certain times last night where I was kind of worried. Taunting Chara is fun though. According to Julien nothing fazes him..but it didn't look like that last night.
