I haven't the slightest idea how I'm functioning right now. I woke up at 6 a.m to meet Phil and the rest of the squad downtown for the Canadian Idol auditions at 7:30. The day wasn't very hectic but it was still so much fun. We spent the entire day handing out stickers and taking pictures & videos of idol hopefuls. There was actually some super talented people in the crowd. This one girl blew me & Darcie away. She was unbelievable and there was these two guys who clearly weren't from around here because of their heavy accents were amazing too. It'll be interesting to see if any of their auditions make it to television. We saw Ben Mulroney again. He came down for an interview with Phil and Phil asked him 5 fast questions, one of which was "Leafs or Habs" and Ben didn't even think about it...he said Habs right away. Good man.

Jully Black also dropped by for an interview which was neat. The rest of the day was spent walking around and chatting with people. It was pretty cool. I'm going to put a bunch of videos on my youtube account. Some of my favorites from today will be up there. Now I'm going to go upload all these photos and videos and watch the Habs game, or atleast try to without falling asleep

So yesterday was pretty fun, mainly because I got to see all the girls again.Melissa & I met up with Kathy, Karen, Genevieve and Jenn and caught up. It was really great. Show started at 7:30 and Hello Operator was on first. I wasn't a fan of their music though so the set felt like it was going on forever. Then Brian Melo came out at 8:30 and played for about 45 minutes. I was a little disappointed because I had liked him so much on Idol and I wasn't as big a fan of him live although I am now in LOVE with the cover he did by Radiohead "Fake Plastic Trees". At around the end of his set the Faber guys ran out and everyone exchanged hugs and thanked him since it was his last night on their tour. Faber came out at around 9:30 and played until 10:40ish. They did a cover of Paralyzer which was AMAZING. My favorite song live is definitely You'll Make It though. So great live and the crowd was so into the guys last night. The entire floor was bouncing. After the show we went to go see the guys. We exchanged hello's and I chatted with Red for a few minutes just because it was probably the last time I was ever going to see him again seeing as how he's leaving the band after this tour</3. We stuck around till about 12:00 and chatted with Jess, Julie, Sophie & Vanessa and then headed to Tim Hortons where an awesome homeless guy walked by the window and waved flowers at Melissa while mouthing something to her. We got home and went to bed at 2:00 and had to wake up at 7:20.

I feel GROSS haha. I had to go down to help out 94.7. The minute I got there I woke up though. We were bringing attention to this amazing thing that three Concordia students were doing to raise awareness to youth homelessness. The 3 of them slept outside in sleeping bags for the entire week and didn't shower or change their clothes and they only ate was given to them AND they still attended classes. They raised 30,000 dollars, exceeding their goal of 15,000. It was so incredible to listen to how passionate they were about what they were doing and how the city had helped them out. So I stood outside with Phil & Audrey for 5 hours raising money and trying to keep the circulation in my toes and fingers. Ben Mulroney came by at one point to do "Media Idol". It was pretty effing funny. Phil, Audrey, Rachard, Me & the 3 guys did this routine to "Listen to the Music" and we owned it haha. They're putting it up on the CTV site tomorrow and whoever wins gets 1000$ for the charity of their choice, and we want to win so we can donate it to Dans La Rue(the organization that the 3 guys are raising money for).

Tomorrow I wake up at 6:30 to go downtown to work at the Canadian Idol auditions. THAT should be fun and I should be good and exhausted after but it'll be worth it.

Friday @ 9 a.m->Help the Homeless with 94.7 HITS FM
Friday @ 1 p.m->Interview with Ben Mulroney for 94.7 HITS FM
Saturday @ 9 a.m-> Canadian Idol Auditions with 94.7 HITS FM

I think it's time for me to just move into the Bell Center. It's my favorite place on the planet and I spend too much time there anyways so why not?! Last night was amazing, AS USUAL. It was the usual group of us at the game and none of us really expected an exciting game..I mean it's the Devils. I love them to death because of Marty & Parise but the trap is the most boring form of hockey ever. Turns out it wasn't boring at all, it was the complete opposite. They had Higgins do the introduction video which automatically made the entire night that much better. His attempt at French was priceless. During warm ups I was a bit starstruck. I've never seen Brodeur in person so it was such a thrill to get to see a future 'Hall of Famer' at work.

We ended up winning the game 4-0 with goals from unusual sources..Smolinski, Lapierre, Ryder & Koivu(well not so unusual for him). Price stopped 38 shots for his second career shutout. It was my first time seeing him win a game and he played unbelievably. I was completely blown away. It was also the first time I've taken part in a CAREY chant and I'll admit, they're much easier then HUET ones.

I know that Habs fans can be obnoxious and unfair and whiny but man...there's no other fans in the league who are even close when it comes to creating an INCREDIBLE atmosphere. The Bell Center was rocking the entire game but during the last 3 minutes when Price was holding onto that shutout the entire place was louder then I have EVER experienced. It felt like this was a playoff game and we were moving to the next round. I couldn't even hear myself yelling behind all the OLE & C-A-R-E-Y chants. I say it ever time but it's so amazing how hockey brings this city together.

Best part of the entire night? We were high up but we were right next to Martys net and at one moment the Bell Center was quiet(a rare sight) before a faceoff and this guy in back of me gets up and goes "HEY BRODEUR" and I'm pretty sure the entire Bell Center heard him and Marty turns his head in the guys direction and the guy goes "YOU SUCK" and everyone started laughing. I love Marty, he's one of my favorite players but I couldn't help laughing especially because we all know Marty heard the guy yell, seeing as how he looked up in the general direction.

NEXT GAME..LESS THAN A WEEK!!!!

So Disney On Ice was amazing!!! We got there about 20 minutes before and bought a bunch of overpriced popcorn & cotton candy to get into child mode. Then we tried to find our seats and the usher comes up to us and he's like "Your seats aren't up here...they're down there" and he brought us down to the floor and we were front row, RIGHT up against the ice. It was insane. They cut the rink in half so a bunch of people could be on the floor as well. It was so surreal. The place filled up and I kept looking up, finally understanding what it looks like to the Habs when they're playing and the crowd is cheering them on. Except the Bell Center was full of children rather then drunk screaming fans. I was tempted to start a GO HABS GO chant on several occasions. Anyways, it was really well done. They performed Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Beauty & The Beast, The Little Mermaid, Snow White and Cinderella(I may be forgetting one). We took so many pictures and on several different occasions they would come off the ice into the crowd which was neat. I think Laura was just as excited as the 5 year old sitting next to her. It lasted 2 hours and it went by pretty fast. I thought it would be strange surrounded by tiny children but there was actually a lot of people our age scattered all over the place, including some teenage couples. It's so much fun to relive your childhood and remember those more innocent times.

Why can't Abbott ever just close the school?! I'm not looking forward to going back to class tomorrow, especially since I have an exam which I'm not really ready for. Habs played Ducks tonight. Lost 3-1 which I was kind of expecting but Price played his heart out. I was so impressed with how cool he was when he was killing off our 7 penalties. Back to the East on Tuesday, I'll be going to that game so I'm excited. BED TIME NOW.
